Mekitsas are another part of Bulgarian cuisine, which reminds me of my childhood. Lovely days when my grandma and my mom used to cook for me and to wake me up with the smell of this delicious pastry. You can eat it with everything you have in your fridge, from cheese, bacon, salami to fruit jams, chocolate, and honey. When you see it on your table, you just can't resist tasting a bit of them.
