In the hot summer days, this cold fresh soup fits perfectly with your daily meals. It's healthy and easy to make. Basically, this is a soup with yogurt, cucumber, dill, garlic, and cold water. the best thing is that it is not a cooking soup, just cut and scramble. This dish is similar to the Greek salad Tzatziki.

The preparation time is only 15 minutes. The recipe is for 4 servings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber 
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 1/2 spoon- salt
  • 1 spoon- (olive) olive
  • 3 spoon - fresh dill
  • 3 cups - yogurt
  • 3 cups - cold water

Instructions

Preparation of Tarator

  1. Peeled and diced the cucumber and the garlic.
  2. In a large deep bowl put the cucumber, garlic, salt, oil, and dill
  3. Add yogurt and stir to combine. Add some water and mix well until there are no lumps from the yogurt. 
  4. The soup is ready, preferably put the soup in the fridge for 30 minutes to be refreshed even more.
